Family Vacation

We went on our first real family vacation this past week to Monte Rio in the Russian River. It was fantastic. We stayed at the SI priest house and Tony stayed with us on Thursday. After a 2 1/2 hour drive Miguel and Tonio were a little cranky. Once out of the car Miguel could not stop jumping up and down. He just knew it was heaven for him. We spent the afternoon and evening playing ball, relaxing, and having a few refreshments under a gorgeous blue sky on the very comfortable lawn with a view of the river. We spent the days swimming, splashing and throwing rocks. Miguel you loved throwing the rocks and Tonio you enjoyed putting them in your mouth. We went on a great hike in the redwoods near Jenner and had a great fathers day eating pancakes at the local cafe and of course swimming. We ended our trip at In-n-Out. Your pops said "I just love how much Miguel enjoys this place." It was wonderfully relaxing and beautiful trip. Yeah Summer!

King of the Mountain

Miguel you are a dare devil 100%. Today at the park you climbed on the first rung of a rope ladder and looked stuck. Then your pops taught you how to climb up and then there was no stopping you. This was about 8-9 feet high and you would climb to the top and jump down into your pop's arms with the biggest smile on your face. It was amazing. Tonio would sit at the bottom standing and bouncing. He wanted to follow you up.
