Crosses

A new obsession for Tonio are the red circle crosses. "What does that one say?" "No left turn". You point them out everywhere:
- No Smoking
- No bunnys (actually no animal testing)
- No two copies (no pirating of dvds)
- No people walking

Those are your favorites. The other day we went to the Botanical Gardens with Jenny and the girls and you saw about 12 at the front gate and your eyes went big and a slow "woooowwww". "No skateboarding, no riding bikes, no picking flowers, no stepping on flowers, no feeding squirels, no scooters (an aside to Jenny, "Thats a good one)".

Other good ones this week:
- No bed bugs
- No tools

Rhymes

Both boys love to rhyme. My favorite is Toto's: "Shoe, new and the number two". He goes around repeating that one a lot.

T Ball

First Day

Last Thursday was Miguel's first day of t-ball. This is his first group/ class anything. I have avoided all Mommy and Me classes, music, and any other toddler class. Now Miguel is almost five (we find out about Kindergarten this week) so we decided to sign him up for the Park and Rec T-ball league. Miguel was good, of course. He was so cute with his little arm pumping as he ran the bases. He was the littlest guy out there. When the boys were actually playing a little game it was very funny. A kid would hit the ball and all kids would run into each other trying to get it and then about six boys would chase the boy around the bases. When it was Miguel's turn at bat, he would hit the ball then go to first and keep running, passing whatever boys was at second and then all the way around, to slid into home, really slide.

This whole time Tonio was going crazy, jumping up and down, whining to play. The age was for 5-7 and Miguel was already too young. When the boys all lined up to hit at the very end. Tonio sneaked in and hit the ball far. When I asked the coach if Tonio could play he said, "Of course the kid can hit".
