Arrow on the move

Arrow you have a great pre-crawl.  Its like the worm.  You do not how to move your arms at the same time as your legs so you first move your arms, fall on your tummy and then scoot forward.  You can move surprisingly fast doing this.

You love LOVE eating paper.  You will find that piece on the ground and eat it.

A top tooth came in.

Birthdays and school

Yesterday was a big day-- it was Miguelito's sixth birthday and his first day of first grade and Tonio's first day of kindergarten.  You both were so sweet with your new haircuts and uniforms.  You both did well at school- no tears.  At the dinner table when we had pizza, as requested, Miguel said his high of the day was, "Playing with Tonio at recess".  My heart melted.  It is so hard to believe my little boy is 6.

-  He loves toys especially action figures (wrestlers, spiderman, star wars)
- He loves watching Michael Phelps in the relay at the Olympics
-  He is a great swimmer
-  His favorite foods:  chicken nuggets, pizza and hamburgers- homemade of course, although he really wants McDonalds
- He loves subway sandwiches

- He has to sleep with a ton of toys/ blankets/ books in his bed.  Sometimes he organizes them to make a wall around the bed.

Summertime Fun

Happy birthdays and first days

Monday was the first day of kindergarten for Tonio and the first grade for Miggy.  Both of you were so cute with your new haircuts and uniforms.  All went well this year- no tears- on their part or mine.  It was sweet at dinner because when we were doing High and Low, Miguel said his high of the day was, "Playing with Tonio at recess."  I almost died it was so cute.  Of course there was homework and Tonio left it at the afterschool program.  Otherwise it was a great day.

It was also Miggy's birthday.  He is 6!  This year we took him to Target (My favorite store says Miguel) and he picked out some toys.  We then took the toys home and wrapped them for his birthday.  He knew what he was going to get but it made the whole thing easier because we were not dealing with expectations.  Tonio and Arrow gave him presents which were surprises.

Miguel at 6:

-  He loves action figures (Spiderman, star wars, leggos, wrestlers)
- He loves hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and corn dogs (homemade, not Mc Donalds as of yet).
- He can watch Michael Phelps final relay over and over and likes to scream like he does
- He is an amazing swimmer
- His favorite teams:  49ers and Giants
- He is a horder- he cant sleep without a million toys, blankets and books in his bed.
- Migs loves to have his back scratched.
- He is aware of how he looks and what he wants people to see
- He loves music and playing the ipod stereo.  Alicia Keys is what he likes to play.
