Spring 2014

 A day at the zoo with Uncle Tony.  You love playing with the animals in the petting zoo and looking at the bug exhibit.

 Below are pictures from Miguel's adoption day.  We first went to the Claremont Hotel with Rita to go swimming (still winter and swimming at the pool).  We then went to Playland not at the beach to see magic shows and play old fashioned video games.  For dinner at our favorite chinese food place:  Shanghai King of Dumplings.  It was a fun day in celebration of Miguel.

 A hike at the Presido and Arrow with his dead bumblebee.  "Mo Bee".  He was stung in the hand because he was trying to catch a bee at school.  It did not bother him at all, he just said "mo bee"  and still chases them around.

Arrow turns two!

Arrow the last few months.... well for several months he would cry hysterically every night we put him down for bed.  Sometimes for 10 minutes sometimes for 1 hour.  We figured he knew his brothers were out having fun still and he knew he was missing out.  Then we let him sleep on the floor with a nightlight and maybe its because of that or he outgrew that phase- who knows- but he stopped.  Now he is so cute and cuddly before bed and no tears.  Stopped just like that.

He talks a lot now.  Mainly repeating words.  His favorites:

He loves to sing Happy Birthday.  He was so excited on his birthday to sing it and blow out his candles.  It was cute because that might have been the highlight- blowing out candles.  So we did it in the morning and then again at night and then when Tony came to visit and then we did it twice again.  The day of your birthday we went to Lawrence Hall of Science to see the giant bug exhibit.  You are in love bugs right now.  You have a special bug cup that you put bugs in, like to hunt ants with Tonio and at school they say you can just watch the spiders and snails all morning. 

You have a HUGE sweet tooth and love candy and honey.

You are so sweet and fun.  You still love playing the with sink and bubbles but it is harder to let you do it because there is a severe drought.  You also like to make banana bread with me. 

On the days we are home together we do not do much.  You love going grocery shopping at Trader Joes because you get snacks and all of the workers love you so much.  They make a big deal when they see you.  We water the plants, read books, and go on walks.  I love you.

Fall 2013

I have no idea what you were thinking but you thought you were pretty funny in this little get up.

Your cousin Michaela came to visit and she wanted to go ice skating so bad.  I tried everything to avoid it but in the end we went and it was a lot of fun.  It was a beautiful fall day.  I took Arrow to the Ferry Building and he had fun chasing balloons.  The boys did a great job ice skating.  Then we tried to get the perfect family picture which means everyones eyes are open.  It was a tough one.

We went to grocery shopping today.  While coming home you got the honey, opened it and then poured it all over you and the car.  It was everywhere. EVERYWHERE!  I brought you home and then while cleaning you up you pooped on the floor.  At nap time you figured out how to climb out of the crib and would not stay in.  Eventually you tired yourself out and fell asleep by the door.  When you woke up I went in your room and it was a disaster- wipes, clothes, toys, baby powder.  You put baby powder all over your face and then covered yourself with powder.  It would not come off.  I had to walk you to pick up the boys because your carseat was still wet from the honey incident.  Then you looked like a ghost the whole time and got some pretty strange looks.
