Spring

You both are in a good place right now. Usually one of you is doing well and the other is off but right now we are having a lot of fun. Toto, you told me, "Mommy you are my favorite kid". Killed me. You are so sweet. You tell me you have fun and say things like, "I had a good day mom." You also call me "cawen". You still like to be held and when I am not talking to you while I am holding you, you grab my cheeks and turn them towards you. You also like red socks, long sleeves, your blue/orange stripped hoodie and these blue and brown footsie pjs. Very specific. Your favorite saying, "I can do it all by myself".

Miguel you are so funny. You love running around naked and have to take all your clothes off to go to the bathroom. You love to dance and leggos right now. You also are still so adventurous. You swim, do flips, run around throw balls. You also love to give hugs and kisses.

At night right now we clean up and then we sing "the ants are marching" while going around the carpet in a circle. You both love it. Then we say, "down down down to the ground" and then row row row our boats to the bed to read books. Its fun and you both love it. We are starting to play spider on the wall- a game I played with Joe as a kid.

Fathers Day

For Father's Day, we took your dad on a double decker bus ride around San Francisco.

Mothers Day 2010

I had a wonderful mothers day with my boys. Saturday, we hiked Tennessee Valley in Marin. You both were tired because the day before we were at the pool for four hours. I ended up holding Tonio for most of the hike to the ocean. Once there there was the end of the river into the ocean where you both played. It was a little chilly but a beautiful day. You both had fun throwing rocks and having a picnic. On the walk back, Tonio was just so tired and I was exhausted carrying home. What got the two of you to walk the last mile back was roly poly hunting. You both looked for the roly polies and then would flick them into balls and then give them to daddy. It was great.

We have spent the last 5 days together and have had a lot of fun swimming, hiking, walking and going to the library. I love you.

Thursdays

For almost three years we have been meeting up with Jenny, Grace and Emily. We usually meet at a cafe and then go to a park. The past months we have changed it up a little because you are all getting older and want to explore. Today we went to Stern Grove and you had fun playing with sticks and climbing rocks. It still takes awhile for the girls to warm up to you (even though we see them every week) but once they do you all fun chasing each other.

Bulldog

This is your bulldog face. Yesterday I got my hair cut and it was straightened and you said, "where did you old hair go?" So cute. Even though early March was temper tantrum season for you. Your favorite form of resistance? The limp speghetti noodle. Just plop down and refuse to move. You also like to spit. You are potty trained now. Now I spend half my days in the bathroom with you and Miguel.
