First Communion Day:  

Arrow loved his bow tie.  It was just perfect.  The boys were so handsome.  They had a baseball game right after and Tonio had a grandslam - on errors- but still!  Everyone came over for an Italian dinner- Yuko, Aguia, Michael, Wilson, Erica, Tony, Doc and Terry were all there and it was very nice.  

For Spring Break we drove to Phoenix to visit Tony.  It was a long drive but we did it!  We stayed in a nice bed and breakfast near Tony's, went to a Giants Spring Training Game, visited a great zoo and it was a million degrees.  The zoo was fantastic.  There was this monkey enclosure where the monkeys were roaming and there was no fence.  So if Arrow wanted to touch one he could.  Arrow asked the zoo women something in Arrow talk.  She looked at Miguel and then asked, "What did he say?"  and Miguel said, "Oh he said, if a monkey bites me will Arrow turn into a monkey?"  It was cute and she gave him such a scientific answer back.

Tonio can drive his brothers nuts but he is the most even tempered and sweetest.  I love my sweatpea so much.  Thanks Tonio.

Arrow now says Me instead of Arrow.  Me no like that.  Me no go.  Me want aliolis (raviolis) and Us go there.  He also likes to say I dont care, oh wow dad (sarcastically), and now says bad words when he hears Miguel sings Uptown Funk You Up.  He knows how to butter someone up- He tells the Trader Joes guy who calls Buddy, "You my best friend.  Arrow loves you!"  The guy who has known Arrow for three years now swooned.  It is cute and annoying.  He likes to tell me "Youre my best mom in the whole world."  He also got in trouble for the first time at school.  His teacher was really mad and I was even madder.  Arrow tried to hit the teacher, would not let others play with the toys, and was laughing at Mr. Cornell when he tried to reprimand him.  I think everyone gives him things and he just smiles so that is what he does but it so hard because he is a terror right now.  He hits and talks back.  It drives me crazy.

At Point Reyes- camping at Samuel P Taylor park.  It was a great weekend and the boys had fun putting the stick in the fire and making it a fire marker.  It was cute.

"Miguel is my best friend".  These two love each other.  Arrow loves to sleep with him and play and just be with miggy.  It is special.

Bad News Bears!  Brian was their coach and they had a good season.  It was the first time they kept score and Miguel was a great pitcher.  Tonio likes outfield and 1st.  They had a tied season in terms of wins and losses but they both improved greatly and they had fun.  I think Brian took the losses harder than the boys.

We had to leave the Little League parade for church!   All were disappointed but it was their first reconciliation.  It was very nice and not guilt ridden.  I confessed and cried- I was feeling down because it was a stressful spring- Brian had no job, my masters, and just mom stuff.  It was long.  But this was a beautiful day.
